Aven Colony: Building a New Home for Humanity

Aven Colony, developed by Team17 Digital, is a strategy game available on Play Station 4. The game is set on an alien planet named Aven Prime, light years away from Earth. As a colony governor, you build and expand small colonies into massive, sprawling cities while dealing with the challenges faced when settling on a new world. The game offers a variety of biomes from the lush wetlands environment to the less habitable desert and arctic.

In Aven Colony, you encounter a variety of alien life forms, including giant sandworms, deadly plague spores, and a vicious fungal infection known as “The Creep.” You must supervise your colonists' well-being and manage your resources to guide your colony to prosperity against the backdrop of the harsh and often dangerous realities of the exotic world of Aven Prime. The game also offers a full single-player campaign, an expedition system, and a fully functional day/night and seasonal cycle that includes winter, where you must take measures to survive the harsh climate.
